Welcome to Seattle’s future 26-block waterfront park, created for the public by the public.

Friends of Waterfront Seattle is the non-profit partner to the City of Seattle created to ensure the success of our future 26-block waterfront park. Friends’ mission is to make the park a public mixing ground where all communities can share cultural, recreational, and civic experiences in a beautiful environment.

The park design delivers what the public asked for: gardens and trees, year-round places to play, fun events, and cleaner water. Accessible by bike, boat, bus, foot, and ferry, all atop Seattle’s new salmon-friendly seawall, the future waterfront park is our once-in-a-century opportunity to deepen our connection to Elliott Bay.
